Meet the Computer Tech

Hello. I have worked for DVUSD for 20 years. I started out in the Emotionally Handicapped classroom at Barry Goldwater High School the year it opened. After several years, I transferred to Mirage (half a day) and Bellair (half a day) to open their computer labs. Next was Park Meadows' computer lab. I then came back to Barry Goldwater to be trained as a Campus Network Specialist. After that, I took a Clerk position at Desert Mountain. I opted to retired in 2001. The next year and a half was spent in planning my youngest daughter's wedding, spending time in Colorado with my grandchildren, moving into a new home and moving my parents into a new home. I was offered the position to work part-time in the computer lab at Las Brisas school five years ago. It is a wonderful place to work and I am very grateful for the opportunity to be here.
